Description:
The EHS Officer will oversee all aspects of environmental, health, and safety for Cloncad, ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a safe working environment. This role requires a mix of office-based tasks and site-based presence to manage and monitor EHS initiatives across various electrical contracting projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in EHS management, preferably in construction or electrical contracting.
Main Responsibilities:
- EHS Program Development & Implementation.
- On-Site Safety Oversight.
- Safety Training & Awareness.
- Incident & Accident Management.
- EHS Audits & Reporting.
- Risk Management & Hazard Mitigation.
- Compliance Monitoring & Documentation.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in EHS management, ideally within the construction, electrical, or contracting industries.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations.
- Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and safety training.
- Ability to identify safety risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- This is a full-time role with a combination of office-based work and on-site visits to project locations.
- Occasional travel to multiple job sites may be required.
