The New Children's Hospital – Service Tunnel As part of a proposed €1.7Bn investment by the state, the New Children's Hospital will be one the world’s leading Healthcare facilities upon completion. Cloncad was appointed as the Electrical Services Contractor to deliver the Services Tunnel Electrical Package linking the Campus Energy Centre to the new NCH Building and the existing campus.
Our scope included the Isolation and Strip Out of redundant services, Installation of MV / LV Switchgear, Installation of MV Containment and Cabling. Scheduled MV Shut Downs, Lighting, Addressable Emergency Lighting, General Services, Fire Alarm, Gas Detection, Services to Medical Gas, ICT back bone links to the existing campus, Mechanical Controls.
This project was delivered on time and with zero disruption to the existing hospital services.
